Dato’ Dr. Lim Lee Seng
— Founder
-
Born in a small village of Port Dickson called Pasir Panjang, Lim Lee Seng grew up looking at oil tanker trucks, ships and depot as the first oil refinery in Malaysia is in Port Dickson.
Lim Lee Seng then moved from Pasir Panjang to Seremban as he grew older and started a small trading business. Everyday he would drive his lorry to Pahang and supplied kerosene to all the small township around Mentakab. In his trips to earn more he would buy canned food and instant noodles to supply to the small town as they did not have such supplies. Much was done to make ends meet.
His days was darken when electric poles came up to cover the streets as this will lessen his supply because most houses were using oil lamps before that. This caused him to look for other measures to make a living. Talking to all his customers and friends he was then told there was a small Mobil station in Mentakab town that was looking for a new dealer. This opened him up to the childhood dream that he always dreamed off. He then tried his luck with no experience but only determination he managed to convince the multinational oil company to appoint him as the next Mobil dealer.
Dato’ Dr. Lim Lee Seng was someone who constantly persevered and always worked more than any one else. He truly gave his live to Seng Group. Unfortunately his health was not on his side. Dato’ Lim Lee Seng was finally laid to rest on the 09.03.2012 after battling cancer for 2 years.
